Abstract : Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of oral calcium dobesilate(CaD) on diabetic optic neuropathy (DON).

All findings suggested that calcium dobesilate could ameliorate renal injury and there were no differences between calcium dobesilate and perindopril on the therapeutical effects.

RESULTS&CONCLUSION:Therapeutic efficacy of the domestic calcium dobesilate is equal to that of the imported preparation,but it is the more inexpensive choice.
