burst的用法

摘要：burst forth 突然出現(xiàn)，突然爆發(fā)出，突然喊出。

1. be bursting to do sth 急于要做某事。如：

He was bursting to tell her the news. 他急于要告訴她這條消息。

2. burst forth 突然出現(xiàn)，突然爆發(fā)出，突然喊出。如：

A broad smile burst forth on his face. 他頓時(shí)笑容滿面。

A cry of horror burst forth from the crowd. 人群中突然發(fā)出恐懼的叫喊聲。

"Why don't you behave? " he burst forth. “你為什么不放規(guī)矩一點(diǎn)呢? ”他大聲喊。

3. burst into

(1) 突然闖入。如：

Don't burst into my bedroom without knocking. 請(qǐng)不要不敲而貿(mào)然闖入我的臥室。

(2) 突然……起來。如：

She burst into tears (laughter, song). 她突然哭(笑， 唱)起來。

The entire hall burst into thunderous cheers. 全場(chǎng)發(fā)出了雷鳴般的歡呼。

注：這樣用的 burst into 后通常接具有動(dòng)作意義的名詞。burst的用法

4. burst out

(1) 大聲叫喊。如：

"I don't believe it"， he burst out. “我不相信”，他大聲說道。

注：這樣用的 burst out 與 burst forth 同義。

(2) 突然……起來。如：

She burst out crying (laughing, singing). 她突然哭(笑，唱)起來。

注：這樣用的 burst out 后通常接動(dòng)名詞。
