表示數(shù)量的代詞(any,much,little,few,many)的用法

1．下面這些都是表示數(shù)量的代詞，用法大體上可以歸納如下：

這些詞作定語(yǔ)時(shí)較多(a)，有時(shí)也可作主語(yǔ)(b)或賓語(yǔ)(C)： a．Many hands make light work. 人多好辦事。(諺) There isn’t much difference between them. 它們之間沒(méi)多大差別。 Few words are best． 少說(shuō)話(huà)最好。(諺) Could I have a few words with you? 我能和你說(shuō)幾句話(huà)嗎? Just give me a little vinegar． 給我一點(diǎn)醋。 He gave us little help． 他給我們的幫助很少。

b．Many(of them)are adults. (他們)許多人是成年人。 There is not much to do here． 這兒沒(méi)多少事要做。 Few(of us)have ever been there． (我們)很少人到過(guò)那里。 A few of them are from the south． 他們有幾個(gè)人是南方人。 There is little left. 沒(méi)剩多少了。 There is still a little． 還剩一點(diǎn)。

c． How many (much) do you want?——A dozen(catty) 你要多少?——一打(一斤)。 I know little(don’t know much)about it． 這事我不太了解。 I’11 get a few (bottles). 我去買(mǎi)幾瓶。 I have got a little 我有一點(diǎn)。

用作表語(yǔ)： How much is it? 多少錢(qián)? Thanks，it’s too much for me. 謝謝，太多了。

2．a(chǎn)ny，much主要用于疑問(wèn)句和否定句，肯定句中多用a lot of： A lot of students want to take the course． 很多學(xué)生想修這門(mén)課。 We’ve got a lot(of things)to do today． 今天我們有很多事要做。

many常可在肯定句中作主語(yǔ)或修飾主語(yǔ)，也可修飾賓語(yǔ)： Many play volleyball in our school． 我們學(xué)校很多人打排球。 Many men，many minds． 人多主意雜。(諺) The hen laid many eggs. 母雞下了好多蛋。
