Slide ring and nut over end of tube. Slide end of tube into compression coupling in float chamber. Tighten both couplings.

After ensuring the male coupling nut is free of scratches, nicks and burr, take the nut and insert into the cable with the thread pointing outward.

Operator Notes: The boot device should be preceded by checking whether the coupling nut loose or fall off, if in time to tighten the nut with the wrench.
