It was radioimmunoassay (RIA) that we used to assay the five primary reproductive hormones (luteinazing hormone-LH, follicle stimulating hormone-FSH, estradiol-E2, progesterone-P and human chorionic gonadotrophin-hCG) levels in peripheral serum of the female Sika deer during estrus and early pregnancy.
