• inform的基本意思是“通知,告知”,用作及物動詞時,接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可接雙賓語,其直接賓語可由帶疑問詞的動詞不定式或that/wh-從句充當。
• inform用作不及物動詞時,可作“檢舉,告密”解,常與介詞against〔on〕連用。
• inform后面不跟雙賓語，He has informed me his new address. 這個句子是錯誤的，應(yīng)在his前加介詞of。
• inform后可加賓語再接that引導(dǎo)從句，但不能直接跟that引導(dǎo)從句。I have to inform that I have removed to the above given address. 應(yīng)在inform后加賓語you。
