skip的基本意思是指小孩或小動(dòng)物“輕盈、優(yōu)美、迅速地蹦〔跳〕”,有活潑過度的含義。引申可表示“跳讀”,也可表示“溜走”。
skip既可用作不及物動(dòng)詞,也可用作及物動(dòng)詞。用作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),一般接物作賓語(yǔ); 用作不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),常與over, through等連用。
