存在句 there be句式的主謂一致問題

若衹有一個主語，謂語的數(shù)則取決於該主語的數(shù)；若有幾個主語竝列，則通常是與靠近的主語保持一致。如：

There is a man at the door. 門口有個人。

There are some girls in the room. 房間裡有幾個女孩。

There is a pen and some books on the desk. 桌上有一支鋼筆和一些書。

但有時說話人先說出了there is(was)，然後才想到要用複形名詞，此時則會出現(xiàn)there is後接複數(shù)主語的情況。如：

There's some things I can't resist. 有些事物我是不抗拒的。

There's hundreds of people on the waiting list. 登記排隊的人有好幾百。
