基本解釋

pleasure的基本意思是“愉快,快樂,滿足”,指某事使人在感情上得到滿足或愉快,也可指使人快樂的各種活動,即“娛樂,消遣”; 還可指能夠使人感到快樂或高興的事,即“快樂的事,樂事”。用于物主代詞之后, pleasure還可指“意愿”。
pleasure多用作不可數(shù)名詞,當作“快樂的事,樂事”解時用作可數(shù)名詞。
pleasure有特指含義時其前要加定冠詞the,而泛指時其前不用定冠詞the。
the pleasure (of)?？捎米鞅硎尽皹s幸,光彩”等客套話。pleasure還可用于回答感謝的客套答語,表示“方便而樂意做的事”。
pleasure作“意愿”解時,常用于it's sb's pleasure to- v 或it's sb's pleasure that...結構, that從句中的謂語動詞一般用虛擬語氣。
pleasure后可接不同的介詞，如in，of，to等，前面兩個后加動名詞，第三個是to的不定式；
注意可以說take (a) pleasure in，其中a可省略，表示一樣的意思，但是不可說take one's pleasure；
pleasure較為客氣的表達方式：Will you do me the pleasure of dining with me? 我有這個榮幸請你一起吃飯嗎？

He didn't show any pleasure when I offered to go with him.
我提出和他一起去,他并沒有表示出高興的樣子。

It gave me no pleasure to have to tell them they were fired.
